On February 11,2010, Sandra Kay Isbell was killed by a 19 year old, DRUNK DRIVER going the wrong way on the freeway. This was his second DUI. She was just 48 years old. She is survived by her four children, mother, many siblings and her grandson. Her children are;Barbara,Danielle,Raymond and Mylissa. Her mother, Beverly and her grandson Trenton. This webpage is being created in her loving memory.
Sandy was the kind of person to give freely and take lightly. She always placed her families needs and others before her own. She was full of life and eager to share her love for God with anyone who would listen. Sandy was finally finding herself again, she was in love with a man that loved her back and just genuinely happy. Her eyes always had a twinkle in them  and we are thankful that our mom had people in her life that cared about her and encouraged her to embrace life. Our mother did not just enjoy life, she welcomed it! Her biggest saying was life is to short, live every day like it is your last and she did just that.  Our mother was and will always be a true inspiration to all that have had the pleasure of knowing her. She taught us all to be strong and not give up on life's happiness because if you want it bad enough, you will reach it. All my mom ever wanted was for her kids and family to be happy. She sacrificed so much to just give us all what we have. My mother is our hero. Her faith in God and life in general is what kept her going. We all know that she is in heaven right now smiling down on us, telling us that she will be alright and see us later alligator. She will forever be in our hearts and lives. Sandy Isbell will truly be missed. Our mother may have wrongfully died but her spirit and unconditional love will live on.

Forever in our hearts, always in our memories....

Here is an update on the status of our mother, Sandra Isbell's court proceedings. Khurshdeep Gill has pleaded not guilty to all criminal charges in the matter of  our mother's death. We have unfortunately had to begin a what seems long road of trial dates. The next court date is 08/17/10 at 10am for those interested in attending our praying for our grieving family and the loving friends that are at a loss since this tragedy has occured. Gill faces the felony of  Vehicular homicide with neglegent intent. Even though this charge sounds severe, it will not do justice to my mother's death nor to the hurt and pain this ordeal has caused our family. When convicted, Gill will face 4,6 or 10 years in jail. Thats all. The judge gets the final ruling on what amount of time he will serve.  I will update this page periodically to keep you  all posted on the status of everything. If anyone wishes to write a message to our family, feel free at the bottom. Thank you all for your support and prayers in advance.
